Emily Mott
1844 - 1920

Miller in Scranton, Pa. on February 16, 1869, where they resided until February of 1889 when the family settled on a farm near Rochester (now Zenda), Kingman County, Kansas, for the benefit of Mr. Miller's health. THey then purchased a farm in the same vicinity, situated in Liberty Township, Harper County, Kansas.
Emily Mott was a member of the Methodist Church and Ladies Aid Society. She was thought of as a good homemaker and neighbor, and was respected by all who knew her.
She died on December 25, 1920, at age 76. She was survived by two sons, Edward J. and Fred G., and three daughters, Grace Elliston Drake, Bess Leone Anthony, and Claire Estelle Tucker, following.
